After 4 years of dedication and extremely hard training it is with immense pleasure we announce the promotion of Blue Dragon -Winsford’s Miss Emily Oakes to 1st Degree Black Belt.
Miss Oakes underwent a 3 1/2 hour grading exam on Sunday 14th October 2012 in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, in front of a grading panel made up of Chief Examiner Master Michael Wood 7th Degree, Mr Andrew Lievers 6th Degree & Mr Kerry Wilson 5th Degree. Also in attendance was BDTKD’s main instructor Mr Walkinshaw as well as several other black belt instructors. Miss Oakes had already passed a written TKD theory exam with 100% correct answers.
We would all like to pass on our sincerest congratulations to Miss Oakes on a truly outstanding achievement.
